Verabond 2V Aalbadent — Ni-Cr alloy for metal-ceramic restorations
High-performance NiCr alloy for metal-ceramic crowns and bridges
Verabond 2V is a beryllium-free Ni-Cr alloy designed for crowns, bridges and complete metal-ceramic frameworks. Its advanced formulation raises the standard of non-beryllium alloys by providing exceptional mechanical strength and high thermal stability.
The biocompatible addition of 4% niobium forms a thin, stable and lightweight oxide layer, ensuring a durable metal-to-ceramic bond and sharp margins after casting.
Key benefits for the dental laboratory
- Excellent melting and casting fluidity for precise margins.
- Low density for lightweight, thin-walled copings.
- Exceptional resistance to thermal distortion.
- High yield strength and elongation for clinical safety.
- Controlled oxidation thanks to niobium.
- Wide ceramic compatibility with fine-grain ceramics.
Applications
- Metal-ceramic crowns and bridges.
- Full-arch bridges and thin copings.
- Fine interproximal abutments requiring high precision.
Ceramic compatibility
- Ivoclar, VITA, Shofu (Vintage, Halo).
