  • Clear, transparent shade.
  • Very high UV stability.
  • High process reliability.
  • Low density and biocompatible.

Biocompatible 3D resin for guided implant surgery

Optiprint Guide is a biocompatible resin engineered to produce high-precision implant surgical guides with consistent, repeatable fit.

  • Its high translucency enables visual verification of drilling axes, while its rigidity ensures stable positioning of sleeves and drill paths throughout the procedure.
  • Compatible with professional resin printers using 385 nm and 405 nm, it integrates smoothly into digital guided-surgery workflows.

Lab tip

High translucency Rigid guides Low shrinkage

To maximize translucency and accuracy, perform a two-step rinse in isopropyl alcohol (90–99%) immediately after printing, then let parts dry completely before UV post-curing. Keep drilling channels free of uncured resin to ensure a precise sleeve fit and reliable guidance during surgery.

Optiprint Guide 3D – Dental applications

  • Manufacturing of high-precision implant surgical guides.
  • Drilling guides for guided surgery and implant-supported prosthetics.
  • Drill templates for use with metal or composite sleeves.
  • Visual control of drill trajectories thanks to high translucency.
  • Cold sterilizable according to the manufacturer’s recommendations.
  • Optiprint Guide 3D guides can also be steam sterilized.

How to use

  • Shake the bottle thoroughly before each use.
  • Print on a compatible 385 nm or 405 nm resin 3D printer (DLP, LCD, MSLA).
  • Clean printed parts in isopropyl alcohol (90–99%), in one or two stages.
  • Allow guides to dry completely before post-curing.
  • UV post-cure in a 385/405 nm curing unit according to Optiprint’s recommended settings.
  • Finish and inspect all drilling channels before inserting surgical sleeves.

FAQ – Optiprint Guide 385/405 nm

Is Optiprint Guide suitable for guided implant surgery?

Yes. Optiprint Guide was specifically engineered to produce implant surgical guides.

Its rigidity and excellent dimensional stability help maintain accurate sleeve positioning and drill trajectories throughout the procedure.

Is the resin compatible with all resin 3D printers?

The resin is compatible with most professional resin printers operating at 385 nm or 405 nm (DLP, LCD, MSLA).

For best accuracy, use the manufacturer’s exposure settings (or validated profiles) for your printer and layer thickness.

Can I maintain high translucency after UV post-curing?

Yes—provided you follow a strict cleaning and drying protocol before UV post-curing.

A thorough IPA rinse, complete drying, and post-curing in a suitable 385/405 nm unit helps preserve high translucency and clear visual control intraorally.

What are the recommended storage conditions?

Store the bottle in a cool, dry place between 10 °C and 25 °C, away from UV radiation and direct light.

Always close the bottle carefully after use to avoid contamination and premature resin aging.
