The Mestra two-part sandblasting flask enables fast and uniform sandblasting of prosthetic components, delivering consistent pressure across the entire surface for results that are significantly more precise than manual sandblasting.

Dental applications
- Metal-ceramic copings: fast, even sandblasting prior to subsequent steps.
- Inlays and cores: uniform surface activation without untreated areas.
- Acrylic teeth: suitable prior to resin curing (with adjusted settings).
Recommended settings for acrylic teeth: pressure at 2 bar and abrasive max. 110 µm.
Operation
- Place the components inside the flask and close it securely.
- Turn the flask upside down, keeping it perfectly vertical.
- Insert the sandblasting nozzle into the opening and hold the flask inverted.
- Sandblast for 15–20 seconds: the components are evenly treated.
Safety precaution: perform sandblasting over a sink or bucket to prevent abrasive from falling on the floor (risk of slipping).
