Instructions for Use - Acryline X-Ray Anaxdent Resin

This page summarizes the manufacturer protocol for Acryline X-Ray and Acryline X-Ray DVT, used for the fabrication of radiographic templates, surgical guides and radiopaque dental appliances in the dental laboratory.

Self-curing PMMA resin Radiographic guide (CT / CBCT) DVT / CBCT compatible Based on manufacturer IFU

Quick protocol overview

Mixing ratio
10 g powder / 7 ml liquid.
Soaking time
15 seconds before processing.
Standard polymerization
10 minutes at 45 °C.
Extended working time
1/3 Liquid HI + 2/3 cold liquid, then 15 minutes at 55 °C.
Working phase
Approx. 2 to 2.5 minutes at 23 °C.
Injection / pressure pot
15 minutes under 2 to 5 bars at 45 °C.

Indications

  • Occlusal splints and technical dental appliances.
  • Radiographic templates and radiopaque surgical guides.
  • Implant drilling guides and structures visible in CT / CBCT imaging.
  • Relining, repairs, extensions and denture individualization.

Preparation

  • Isolate the damp plaster model twice using a suitable separator.
  • In repair procedures, roughen the tooth or acrylic surface to improve bonding.
  • Moisten the surface if necessary using the recommended bonding liquid before applying the resin.

Processing steps

  1. Prepare the working area.
Isolate the model and verify all surfaces before application.
  2. Measure the components.
Mix Acryline powder and liquid at a ratio of 10 g to 7 ml.
  3. Allow soaking.
Respect a soaking time of approximately 15 seconds before handling.
  4. Apply and shape.
Work during the plastic phase using brush, pouring or injection technique.
  5. Polymerize.
Follow the standard protocol at 45 °C or the extended protocol at 55 °C if a longer working time is required.
  6. Finish and polish.
Adjust, finish and polish the appliance after complete polymerization.

X-Ray / X-Ray DVT specificity

Acryline X-Ray is specifically developed for radiopaque diagnostic appliances. The X-Ray version is intended for CT-based radiographic guides, while X-Ray DVT is optimized for DVT / CBCT imaging systems.

This property ensures optimal visibility of dental structures and guides during implant planning procedures.
