Splint 2.0 DETAX resin — High-strength rigid 3D splints
Splint 2.0 DETAX is a Class IIa biocompatible 3D material specifically designed for the fabrication of rigid splints, fixation keys and transfer keys. Its clear-transparent formulation, flexural strength > 80 MPa and modulus > 2000 MPa provide excellent stability without becoming brittle, while maintaining very high dimensional accuracy.
Lab tip
Take advantage of the low viscosity of Splint 2.0 to reduce resin consumption and speed up cleaning, working with clean IPA baths and short cleaning cycles.
Dental indications
Rigid occlusal splints for bruxism, occlusal stabilisation and treatment of temporomandibular disorders.
Fixation keys, transfer keys, repositioning guides and appliances requiring high rigidity and excellent fit accuracy.
Instructions for use
Shake the bottle thoroughly before use and homogenise the resin (bottle shaker recommended).
Print on a DLP printer validated at 385 nm using the Splint 2.0 parameters supplied by DETAX.
Clean the parts in an IPA bath (purity ≥ 98 %) according to the protocol described in the IFU and Annex 1.
Perform UV post-curing immediately after cleaning, strictly respecting the recommended time and light intensity to ensure biocompatibility.
Mechanically polish surfaces and margins to obtain a smooth, comfortable and dimensionally stable splint in the mouth.

Yes. Splint 2.0 is a rigid 3D resin specifically developed for occlusal splints and stabilisation appliances.

DETAX provides specific parameter sets for Asiga, Rapid Shape, MiiCraft, SolFlex and several other certified platforms.
On other printers, use without validation may lead to mechanical failure or compromised biocompatibility.
For any device not listed in Annex 1, it is strongly recommended to run internal tests before clinical use.
